When we arrived it hadn't been cleaned and wasn't ready for us, so we contacted the host, who apologized and assured it would be taken care of. "The cabin was clean enough except for the linens that smelled of cigarette smoke. We had a problem with check-in due to not receiving an entry code from VRBO. With no cell service, we had to drive to find reception to call the Scenic Cabin rentals for our code. Fortunately, we arrived during daylight hours."

However, getting up to the cabin was an adventure of itself as it's located up pretty high with steep hills and sharp turns, so being a confident/comfortable driver is a must. "Nice hotel with nice clean spacious rooms. Mildly disappointed in the check-in process. Signs on the door directed to an office across the street at another hotel that they no longer have an office in. The room wasn’t stocked with spare blankets either. Even with those two minor issues, the hotel was great. Plenty of amenities in the room. Great location and reasonable prices. "
