"My wife and I chose the red roof inn because of proximity to an event, price, and because of reviews suggesting that under the new management it as an decent stay. First it’s important to note that we were greeted by a very friendly desk clerk that was happy to check us in and did so efficiently. The entry and front desk clearly were clearly not in a functional lobby in as much as it was a window through which the transition took place. Definitely did not impart any real feeling that this hotel...

"My room smelled like smoke"

"It was okay. One thing it doesn’t mention when you book is they require a $60 cash deposit which you get back when you check out but there’s also stipulations as to how long they hold it. The room was clean but it was just so muggy in the building itself & the ac barely worked to get rid of the muggyness. It worked for what I needed it for. But I will go back to my normal hotels I use next time I visit family"

"Claimed not to have my reservation, despite showing them the email confirmation I had received three days prior. Would not give me a room. Probably a blessing in disguise. While I was dealing with front desk attendant, one guest came in and canceled her stay because her room was dirty when she arrived, and another guest indicated that he had no toilet paper or towels in the room he had just checked into. Total dump."
