"Very charming Victorian house beautifully decorated and furnished evoking memories of bygone period where time extended forever. The room was lovely, but not the best in the house which i would rather have had and paid more had the opportunity been available on hotels.com. The room lacked a writing desk and WiFi. "Rooms were clean. Staff was very friendly. Bed was a little uncomfortable, but i feel all hotel beds are uncomfortable. "

"Since it was the Marriott the property has really improved. There is a bar now and a sumptuous breakfast was served. There is now an elevator where there wasn't one before. The beds are quite comfortable and there is housekeeping each day. The staff was quite courteous, except the checkout person was quite cold. i wanted to talk about our great stay but I don't think I would have been too well received. "

"Stayed here on my way to Minnesota. Good hotel room, well decorated and nice view. The HVAC system was crazy loud for some reason. Luckily, it was nice out and I turned it off. Was like a motorcycle in the room! Would still stay here again, as the hotel was very convenient. "
