There were 3 cons: 1-There was no elevator so if stairs are a problem, be aware to ask for a ground level room. 2-There is no real ice machine. The ice situation was pathetic. 3-There were no towel racks in the bathroom. Hanging up your towel after a shower--- i used the shower curtain rod. "

"Staff were friendly and check-in was quick and convenient. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The only issue was breakfast. There were hardly any options, just cereal and toast, juice and coffee. No proteins or hot options of any kind. They shouldn’t advertise free breakfast if they don’t have any actual food. Overall, it wasn’t bad for the price, a good place to rest for the night while passing through. "

"We had a lovely stay at the Riverside. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed the deck overlooking the river. If we were staying longer, we would definitely have asked for one of the rooms with a river view. Next time we are in Hayward, we will certainly choose the Riverside. "
