"Ethan, the owner, was so nice and accommodating. We came up for our elopement and "mini honeymoon" and wanted a quiet place on the lake. The home is beautiful and fully stocked with everything you need. The master bedroom has a breathtaking view of the lake, and at night, the stars. We very much enjoyed our short stay and will definitely stay again in the future. "

However would recommend a new microwave, it took a very long time to heat food, also need shower curtain liner. Good communication with owner and answered all questions. We enjoyed the wonderful views through the windows, the shower experience, the comfortable bed, and building a fire under the shelter. This is definitely a rustic experience, its not a fancy cabin- but a simple cabin in the woods, that allows you to "camp" with all of the amenities provided. We loved it. "

Very quiet relaxing atmosphere but I would suppose that would depend on the other types of guests staying there at the same time as well. Great communication with host and very helpful. "Incredible! The pics don’t do it justice. I spent so much time on the back porch listening to the water and watching the deer. The other cabin is not visible at all so you feel completely secluded. The house was spotlessly clean. It’s laid out perfectly and has everything you need. The steps to get to the loft (bedroom) are essentially a ladder so be warned if you have mobility issues. It was perfect for 2 people. Would probably be cramped with more than that. The local wine was a nice touch....
