"I've stayed here in the past and enjoyed the hotel. But the cleanliness has gone downhill. Probably won't stay here again."

"The hotel is conveniently located 30 minutes away from Sleeping Bear Dunes, 40 minutes away from Traverse City, and only 10 minutes away from Frankfort if you're looking for good restaurants. The room was clean, the king size bed was super comfortable, and the shower is nice and hot. There is also a private beach right behind the hotel. It is a family-run business so don't expect the front desk to be available 24/7 for check-ins and services, but we checked in around 10pm and it was a very quick...

"I was a guest at a nearby wedding and the Mushroom Cap was a venue listed by the bride as a nearby option to book for the night/weekend. The photos online made it look so quaint and adorable and seeing it in person did not disappoint! The grounds were well maintained and the rooms were very clean and kept. The cabins on site are due to be reopened after a full remodel and I look forward to booking there again for a longer stay to utilize the nearby summer attractions."

"Corredor sem luz, limpeza deixa a desejar, colchão ruim, lençol e toalhas com sensação de sujos. Não condiz com o valor de outros hotéis que ficamos na região ainda mais acessíveis Não condiz com as fotos jamais "

"We were in the area for a color tour. We booked here because we like the motel feel-parking outside the door, more personal feel. We checked in with a no contact check in, which worked without fail. The room was charming, and had everything we needed. There was making for s’mores if you wanted to build a fire, plenty of room to be outside enjoying the property. It was a great night."

"Nice little place to stay for a weekend visit, loved that it was pet friendly the staff super friendly also quick to get anything you need, the toilet didn’t flush that great, lol over all, cute place would book again the price was reasonable"

"Bugs in room. Worn out facility. Very old. Not worth the price."

"There should be more better breakfast options available and maintain more staff so that guests are not waiting to be checked in we had to wait for 30 minutes before someone showed up at the front desk. But the lady was politely asked for excuse as she was busy. That was acceptable as she was the only person on the front"

"We just needed somewhere to stay during a busy race weekend. Perfect -for what we needed!"
