" I liked the location of the property being close to places within walking distance like the Wilderness railway. The room was neat and tidy and was generally quiet during my four-night stay. My only frustration was with the tv in the room as many a time the 'no signal' message popped up. Other than that it is a nice place to stay, and I enjoyed a Sunday dinner in their restaurant. "

"This was my second visit to Strahan. It’s easy to forget how these towns in the west of the state shut down in winter. The hotel has two restaurants and the pub. Both restaurants were closed and there was no suggestion of room service. The only appliance in the room was an electric jug, which meant that, if you want breakfast you have to eat at the bistro.
