" there was no hot breakfast available neither coffee or hot items like eggs. I want a refund for breakfast not being available. I I had to go get breakfast separately at a restaurant which made my available time limited before my meeting.

"I arrived just after check in time and I had my choice of parking spots. The front desk staff member on Thursday, 04/09/26 made check in super easy. My room was easy to find. My room was crystal clean and the layout perfect for my stay. The staff in the bar/restaurant were both attentive and friendly. Restaurant manager was engaging which was impressive. "We come to the area 3 times a year for a hockey tournament and this was the first at Tru.
The parking was super convenient and always had available spots and was well lit. The room was very small which could be expected. The water pressure was very low so it was difficult to take a quick shower due to that. Fair selection for breakfast but were trying too much with eggs; scrambled eggs would have been fine.
The staff always looked mad to be there and annoyed when I noticed some guests asking...

"Breakfast was good. My biggest problem is that you find out about renovations after you have paid. There were ants mainly in the restroom and yes we informed the staff. They waited until 10 pm and asked if we wanted to change rooms or they can spray, but would have to leave room for 2 to 3 hours. Why not offer that service while we gone all day long. "

"The hotel is in a great location with a beautiful oceanfront view. The suite is really spacious and the separate bedrooms were perfect. Both had more than adequate storage, lighting tvs, and outlets/chargers. The balcony was private and very large that came with two chairs and a table.
Breakfast was surprisingly good. It would have been nice if the serving time was longer (7:30-9:30) and the coffee machine allowed for bigger servings. The food was replenished promptly and the breakfast staff...
