"The staff were polite and helpful. However, the hotel did not have an accessible room with a waterside view. I booked two rooms, we had to call down to reception to have the rooms cleaned two days in a row. The entire hotel needed to be overhauled and renovated, it appeared very run down. I have family who resides in the area and I would not stay there again."

"Was pleasantly surprised. The breakfast was good and seemed fresh. Rooms clean. Did have one towel that seemed to be stained, but all in all good. Not sure if it is the scent of the cleaner or what but there was a constant aroma of what seemed to be Marijuana in the hall way. We did not smell it in our room however. All an all I would return and enjoyed the stay. 4 out of 5 stars."

"We had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Place Virginia Beach and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly, courteous, and always willing to help. Housekeeping was prompt and did an excellent job keeping our room clean and comfortable throughout our stay.
The ocean view from the hotel was beautiful and made our visit even more relaxing. We also enjoyed the swimming pool, which was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for families.
