The Space:

Our 5 bedroom + open living area, 2-bathroom home is perfect for family vacations or a weekend getaway. This spacious home provides the perfect mix of comfort and fun. Located in the Tidewater area, enjoy the beautiful outdoors in the sunroom & covered porch for a peaceful getaway.



- Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen for cooking enthusiasts, with a coffee maker, and toaster. Coffee and tea are available for guests.

- Bedrooms: Comfortable queen bed with adjustable dimming lights. Spacious closets and dressers to store your clothes are available.

- Living area: Bright with natural light, decorated with art pieces and indoor plants. Many games/books are available for you to enjoy in the space. Exchange laughs and stories around the electric fireplace.

- Laundry: Washer and dryer located in the bathroom.

- Bathrooms: Two full bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a shower and tub. Stocked with fresh towels and essential toiletries.

- Backyard: A spacious, fully fenced oasis perfect for entertaining or relaxing, featuring cozy Adirondack chairs, a roaring fire pit for cool nights, and a BBQ grill ready for weekend cookouts with friends and family!

Beach chairs are available.



Important Notice: Patio Sliding Door Temporarily Out of Order

The exterior sliding glass patio door is currently out of order and cannot be used. A repair has been scheduled and is expected to be completed within approximately two weeks. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding while we work to have the door repaired.



Guest Access:

Our home is contactless seamless and easy self check-in. A code will be set for you and shared 48 hours before your arrival. At Sojourn we take your happiness and comfort seriously. No request is too big or too small for our team and we strive to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. Don't hesitate to ask.



The Neighborhood:

The Bayview neighborhood in Norfolk, Virginia, offers a variety of recreational activities and attractions that make it an exciting place to live. Residents can enjoy easy access to Ocean View Beach for coastal recreation and the Bayview Recreation Center for community events and sports. Nearby, the Norfolk Botanical Garden and the Elizabeth River Trail provide scenic spots for outdoor activities, while cultural attractions like Nauticus and the Chrysler Museum of Art offer enriching experiences. Families can also visit the Virginia Zoo, and sports enthusiasts will appreciate Harbor Park, home to the Norfolk Tides. The area is conveniently located near Interstate 64, making it easy to explore the wider Norfolk region, and it's close to Naval Station Norfolk, offering a prime location for military personnel.



Getting Around:

To get around Norfolk you can use Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) buses or take The Tide light rail for efficient city travel. Biking is a great option, with dedicated lanes and the scenic Elizabeth River Trail. E-scooters are also available in the area for use. Rideshares and taxis also operate widely for flexible transport. For the best option, check real-time routes and availability using the respective apps or websites.

From time to time, our homes may require preventative or emergency maintenance or during long term stays, a showing to prospective tenants. While we make every effort to avoid any interruptions to your stay, Sojourn reserves the right to access the property after providing 24 hours’ written notice. Your comfort is our priority, and we appreciate your understanding.



Baby Gear (Optional Add-On)

Traveling with little ones? We’re happy to offer Pack & Plays and high chairs for your convenience. These items must be reserved in advance and are available for a $25 rental fee per item.



Parking Information

Driving to your Sojourn? Please inquire with the Sojourn team to make a parking reservation to ensure your arrival is seamless and stress-free. Sojourn and the property owner are not responsible for loss, theft, damage, or injury involving your vehicle or its contents. We cannot guarantee the safety or security of any parking location and disclaim liability for any incidents. Thank you for your understanding.



Pet Policy

Most of our residences are pet friendly and welcome your four-legged companions. While most booking platforms include the pet fee upon reservation, any exclusions will be invoiced at $15 per pet per night for stays up to 30 days and $450 total for stays 31 days or longer. Kindly inform us of any pets joining your stay so we may update your reservation accordingly. We do love furry companions, but we do have some properties that are not pet-friendly. If you’re traveling with a pet please ensure this is a pet-welcoming home. If it is not, we’d be happy to recommend one of our many pet-friendly stays.
