"We enjoyed our stay at Paul’s cabin. It was a great home base for us as we traveled around the area (Hillman, Alpena, Clear Lake State Park beach, Ocqueoc Falls, and Rogers City). The cabin was comfortable. It was close quarters but suited our needs. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us."

"We came to Cheboygan to do volunteer work. As a result we were gone from 7:30 in the morning until 7:30 at night. We didn't have much time to enjoy all the place offers. That being said, the cabin was very comfortable and super clean. Everything we needed for the stay was provided. The bed was very comfortable too. The only issue we had was connecting to the Internet with our phones. It was very spotty which was frustrating at times. If you want a very nice place to stay that gives a...

"This place was a great "take a load off and chill" cabin! We had four adults and six children in our party and everyone had such a nice time! The area where the cabin is nice and secluded from hustle and bustle, but there are a few little stores close by (walking or 1-2 minute drive) or bigger grocery/hardware stores about a 10 min drive if needed. Brad was quick to respond with any questions we had or when he had to communicate extra details/information to us. He knew the property well and...

Stunning views of Lake HuronOscoda
9.0 de 10, Maravilhosa, (35 avaliações)
"Unfortunately we would not return to this house. We loved the proximity to beach and the lake view from the upstairs bedroom, and appreciated the upstairs AC unit. That was about all we were able to enjoy… the place was very dirty, dishes weren’t clean, throw blankets were not washed and had awful smells. Shower was small with no soap, shampoo, etc. There were SO many bugs both outside and inside, which I’m sure is just a seasonal May thing and not the property owner’s fault. However, there were...

Cabin #1 - "Chickagami"Carp Lake
9.0 de 10, Maravilhosa, (72 avaliações)
"Cabin is right on the lake. Very rustic. Host was a great communicator and answered when we reached out and did consistently check in. Understand this is a cabin in the woods, decor is not a concern to me but the place did not feel clean. The toilet backed up twice while we were there and the bathroom floor would get puddles from the toilet ( not overflow but it seemed the toilet was leaking from underneath). This was our cabin #1. I cannot speak for the other cabins."

"Location is great and quiet. Exterior and interior of cabin needs cleaning. Cobwebs, dead flies, dust needs attention. It needs a deep clean really and that would help immensely. AC worked great, the kayaks need a place to store rather than all leaning on our cabin. 50/50 on us coming back."
