"The staff was friendly.. People just standing around outside... Alot of guest living there with people coming in and out.. Room was ok, had a moldly smell..had a refrigerator no microwave or coffee pot in room. Towels and sheets were clesn but dingy looking... The pool had kids in it with no adult supervision.."

"This is, indeed, a motel for sportsmen. Our room had a backwoods theme, but was also prepped for folks coming in from a day in the backwoods. I think it’s being upgraded room by room (lots of building supplies blocking a couple of rooms), and kudos to whoever is taking in what seems to be a labor of love. The motel is not actually in Dorchester- don’t let Google misdirect you- and is quite isolated, so bring your own breakfast. But it’s also in the heart of the Driftless, which is a wonderful...

"This motel was perfect for what we wanted. A clean place to sleep for a night. VERY clean and VERY quiet even though it was completely booked. I would definitely reccomend it for someone who just wants the basics. Again, VERY clean."
