I was also a little sceptical when I saw Belle Vue’s exceptionally high rating, but after staying there, I completely understand it. The guest house really was exceptional. The décor was stylish, the bed and furniture were very comfortable, and the location and grounds were lovely. "This is a great location for exploring Norfolk. We were only there one night but it was peaceful and accommodated all 3 of us with our dog. The owner was excellent with her communication but not at all intrusive. Nice touches like our own private garden with a BBQ where they kindly left some coals so we had the option to use it."

"Had to ask for clean towels and coffee sachets. Also had to ask for room to be cleaned and bedding changed after 3 days. So a 7 day stay only changed once. Lights not working. Shower connected to taps so unable to control water temperature. Shaving light above sink not working. Towel rail in bathroom got dangerously hot and was held together with insulating tape. A small step down to the room had no hazard warning tape or aluminaton, tripped over going out and fell down going in."

Having had to slum it in a rival establishment a few years’ ago, when there was no room at Poets Corner, it was a relief to note how well looked after we were."

"An excellent location right in the heart of King's Lynn, directly across the road from the Minster and in easy reach of shops and bars. The food was excellent in the bar, plenty of variety too. The range of beers etc also very good. Staff friendly and helpful. Room spacious and comfortable. Would happily stay there again. Ideal for visiting Sandringham and the beautiful North Norfolk coastal area Breakfast was taken nearby at a local cafe."

Parking at the hotel was easy but expensive but there are plenty of other car parks close by, e.g. Tuesday Market Place car park is outside the hotel The staff we extremely friendly and very helpful.
