"Great hotel. Have been coming for years for an annual birthday night out with a group of friends. Guy at reception was very friendly, especially as we were concerned we may not be able to park there as no space, but did manage to in the end. Hotel is great...not the most modern, no, but homely and rooms have always been spacious, clean and welcoming. The bar/club is great for a night out. Would definitely recommend. Very close to town centre and beach too. Well done Royal Exeter!"
"very old hotel and not worth the cost/benefit. it was not cleaned properly because under the bed there were items left over from the previous guest. breakfast a little weak. terrible pool time, because you have to check out at 11 am but the pool opens at 10 am and to enter the check in is at 4 pm and the pool closes at 6 pm, for just one night, as I stayed, I couldn't even use it, being that one of the criteria of my choice was the swimming pool. The location is very good."
"O hotel Cumberland cumpriu com o prometido em termos de acomodações, localização, limpeza e café da manhã. O único problema ocorreu com meu colega que hospedou-se em um quarto no primeiro andar e não pode dormir devido a uma festa que aconteceu na sexta-feira na boate do hotel. Estávamos em um Congresso e a noite de sono perdida foi um transtorno para ele. O hotel precisa cuidar desses detalhes que fazem toda diferença durante uma hospedagem!"
"We had no good experience. Reception staff would be extremely rude. Elevator only for luggage and it was broken, the front desk clerk ordered my husband to carry the luggage on the stairs. Small room. Bathroom stall extremely small. They charged £ 10 for a late check out at 1 pm (even with all the bad service and the elevator issue). This hotel should never be rated 4 stars at most 3 stars! We regret choosing this hotel! And the breakfast with very few options!"
