Real wood entry door to the hotel with solid/heavy brass handles shaped as a bird's head. Great bar selection of whiskeys and cocktails, and very responsive staff. Southern charm at its finest. "The staff was pleasant, very nice, same as other reviews, there was the occasional nightly smoke alarm and fire department visit, the only real drawback is no real amenities kind of a trade-off, I moved to a different hotel for better amenities, but then the place I moved to smelled funny and was much older, lesson learned. I should’ve just stayed for the final three nights at Echo suites."
"I noticed several young people arguing...they may have been drinking or using something. The lock on my door couldn't be locked from the inside.Someone had used som air freshener rather than cleaning and my husbajnd has asthma. i decided not to stay. I booked thru Experian or similar and they had no record of my reservation. "
"The room was well appointed, very clean, with a very comfortable bed, The hosts were very thoughtful in having coffee, bottled water, iced tea, soda and juice available in the dining room 24/7. The complimentary continental breakfast was convenient and offered a wide selection of breakfast items including fruit, yogurt, muffins, toast, danish, granola with toppings, instant oatmeal and more. There was a lovely private, comfortable patio area which I definitely enjoyed."
