"The Cottage was an excellent choice for our stay in Spearfish! We stayed two nights and found the two bedrooms and living area were spacious and perfect to allow us to relax. Check in was easy; great communication throughout stay with property managers. Easy to see this is the renovated upper floor of an older home but decor was updated and furniture and fixtures were modern. Visited during two days of 80+ degrees yet AC kept up nicely. "Visited in the off season and it was a nice quiet stay. Loved the little cabin we stayed in, too. It seemed either like a newly built or newly refurbished. Either way it was very comfy and inviting. The dogs at the main building were very friendly, too!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It was the perfect size for us, and we loved being able to take our pup along! The location is great and the neighborhood is really quiet. This was one of the cleanest VRBOs we’ve stayed in. The beds were very comfortable and the house is decorated beautifully. We would love to stay again sometime! Our only complaints were the squeaky bathroom door and the igniter on the grill that didn’t work, but those didn’t affect how much we enjoyed our time at this...

"It was really cool to experience granny flatts from the show Building outside the Lines. Chappie and sprout built some really unconventional features from the treehouse over the stream to the COB building and the rocket ship to name a few. The rental itself is an older structure but it is well maintained and we had no problems whatsoever. our two dogs loved the chickens and the enclosed area. It was a unique experience that we all enjoyed."

"It was NOT what shown. Room was very very small. The window air was hooked to the lights in bathroom so if you shut light off you also shut air. Parking lot was terible shape and so was building. Very loud! We rented it for to 2 day and stayed one!! Not happy with stay"

"We have gone on several family vacations and have 19 people (kids and grandkids) in our family. This house is superb with all the bedrooms and bathrooms. The indoor pool and two hot tubs are incredible and the outdoor patio in the back of the house was ideal for morning coffee and all day fun. The kids had so much to do and played pac man, pool, foosball, basketball, ping pong, and tether ball. The communication with Vacasa was excellent. Thank you for the memories! "

"This was our fourth family stay at this lovely, roomy property. There are plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone. The kitchen is well-stocked. The huge dining table plus kitchen table accommodates our group, but our favorite area is the deck for morning coffee. Also, we asked once if the items in the garage could be moved to one side so that we could have our annual corn hole tournament, and it's been cleared out for each stay ever since. We love this place!"
