"Small clean and tidy with everything yoy need and a little more. The observatory platform was the perfect place for coffee and the water is so close. "

"We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer had we had the time. The cottage and property were absolutely beautiful, offered everything we needed, and Laurel was a lovely hostess. The breakfast with fresh fruit grown on site was a perfect way to get acquainted with Hawaii. We had to google what some of the fruit was and how to eat them. So much fun, and super fresh and delicious. Great experience!"

"The views from this house were incredible! We enjoyed meals on the oceanfront deck, and it was fun to watch the cruise ships and cargo ships going in and out of Hilo harbor. Randall was helpful and responsive. What a memorable place!"

"We had a brief and wonderful stay at the tiny house. Adam is a responsive host at a fantastic location. This tidy, tiny, house had all our family of four needed to end our visit back on the big island. The location felt remote and yet minutes to Hilo’s historic district as well as quick access to the nearby surf break. Gas range and outdoor fireplace under the covered porch made for lovely home cooked and memorable meals. Overall, a gem! "

"The unit was clean, well appointed, and comfortable. The views are spectacular from the top floor, and with the open windows we were able to hear the ocean at night. It’s a shame the building and property was a rough around the edges and needs some TLC. "

"Excellent views, very easy check-in and check out! Close to everything we wanted to be close to and the coffee shop was excellent in the lobby area!"

House is a little rumpty but we loved finishing our active days with pre dinner drinks at the pools over the road and cooling off with an easy dip in one of the many pools. Richard was a really helpful and easy to contact host. Well equiped kitchen. "

"The view is absolutely incredible. It is so relaxing to sit out on the deck and listen to the rushing water. The house is very well appointed and it is a nice space. There is no a/c and it got warm but they had ample fans and it cooled every night. So worth it for the beautiful and amazing view. We would love to rent again. "

The location is quiet and furnished tastefully, beds also v comfortable. We loved driving all over and seeing the island. If you don’t like driving a lot there isn’t much activity in the immediate neighborhood. "
