"I have always known this particular hotel very well since my teens, and have always stayed here with my family during most of our overseas trips to Hokkaido for the past decade or so. Now, I've conquered it and stayed here alone. The room was comfortable and was just the way I remembered it, especially the surroundings of the entrance hall. "Nice breakfast high tea style. Staff were very helpful. Stayed in the loft room for a family of 5. The loft was half height which was fun for the kids. Overall the room space was a bit tight but sufficient. Washing machine and dryers were pay per use. "

"We stayed here for the hot spring and skiing. The sauna and outdoor bath were awesome – we loved them! The hotel itself is a bit old-fashioned and has a 90s atmosphere, but there’s nothing wrong with that. In fact, it felt like a nice cultural experience, a bit different from the usual modern hotels in Japan. The only downside for me was the dinner option.
