We enjoyed the beautiful birdlife, the quiet neighbourhood and the lovely local walks. We found the bach to be perfect. Really comfortable and homely. "Easy self check in. Kitchen is extremely well equipped for cooking and baking plus air fryer and slow cooker and rice cooker. Great communal areas including outdoor areas which were usable in the bright winter days we were blessed with. Good showers one upstairs bathroom and one downstairs bathroom. "Tekoa Lodge was perfect for our family ski trip. House is very warm with the woodburner going. Lots of space inside and out. Very short drive to the mountain. The private bush track down the river is also very cool. We would certainly stay again. Oh, and David is an excellent communicator. "

"The property was just as advertised. We had such a pleasant stay. Everything we needed is available. The bed was nice and comfy. It felt like our home away from home. The location was pretty handy too. It wasn't too far from either ski field and was so close to Turangi for groceries and gas. It's a shame we didn't stay longer and the weather wasn't so great. We could have explored the lakeside and surrounding areas more! Definitely worth a come back!"
