"We had a fabulous time. Great communication and welcome from owners. The apartment was beautiful, the decor, the outlook from sitting room window, with all the trees and birds. "From the moment you arrive you are greeted by Adam, who makes you feel so very welcome. It’s like coming home. "We only had one night at Rose Cottage however we wished we could have stayed longer. Beautifully furnished and more spacious than we imagined. Great to have 2 bathrooms too - real bonus. Kitchen and lounge areas were perfect. Beds were also really comfortable and we were amazed how quiet it was considering it was attached to other properties. All in all a real gem of a cottage in a really pretty village."

"We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk. I would highly recommend this place."

Carrying luggage up and down was very challenging particularly as Torquay is not the kind of resort that attracts younger guests.
