Perfect Stay
My daughter and I stayed one night at the Admiral Sims' House and it was wonderful! Excellent communication! Very welcoming and helpful, allowing us to check in early and great recommendations for dinner. Room was beautiful, clean and spacious. Great location and parking. Easy walk to the Cliff Walk and could easily walk up to town if we weren't so tired from taking on the full walk. Great stay!!! Thank you so much!

We were truly blown away with the care and attention to details with this wonderful bnb! From cleanliness to tasteful and modern decor to complimentary bottled water and kcups in room…even basic toiletries like Dove body wash, etc! I truly just can’t say enough about this property. I will be back FOR SURE!

Wonderful
We stayed in the Ocean Room for 2 night on Catherine St. Everything was perfect! Very clean, great location. We didn’t eat breakfast because we actually slept in. It’s been a long time for us to sleep with a window opened….we’re from Louisiana…lol Would definitely return and invite everyone to book here! The Davezacs

Great location , beautiful neighborhood, can walk to cliff walk and Easton beach. Inn is just as pictured. Clean and quiet. Modern touches in room. Home baked good in the morning and individualized fresh fruit cups. My husband and I love Newport and would defiantly stay here again. Lauren

Great Stay at Homeaway!!
We stayed for one night and want to go back for a week or more!! The Homeaway is in a pretty neighborhood, within walking distance of the beach or downtown Newport! On the grounds, the Homeaway had a beautiful Gazebo which made for the perfect opportunity to enjoy the warm summer night air. Our room, the Newport was perfect, very comfortable/ picturesque. Did not meet the management in person which wasn’t a problem because they have an easy check in system. Management was readily available through a brief phone call and texts, very accommodating. We can’t say enough nice thing about the Homeaway, it was a perfect alternative to a 5 star hotel.

An extraordinarily pleasant surprise
Booked this property last minute to come into Newport for the tennis tournament. We found a great rate for this location (not normal for July in Newport), so we assumed there had to be a catch. We were wrong. The property was lovely. The room was so cute and had everything we needed. It had the convenience and luxury of a high-end hotel, but with the quaintness of a B&B. The location was within walking distance to everything - but without being in the chaos of the center of town. The host stayed in communication with us the entire time to make sure we had a smooth check-in and a pleasant trip. Excellent stay!

Comfortable & Convenient
My son and I came into Newport to watch some tennis matches. We were able to park at our VRBO and walk everywhere we wanted to go, including the Tennis matches, Cliff walk and downtown restaurants. The house is in a beautiful quiet neighborhood and the room is perfect for a short stay. It has a kitchenette and a very comfortable bed. Also, there was fresh fruit and baked goods in the morning and Keurig machine. Also, beach towels and umbrellas in case you need them. I highly recommend this place!!

Perfect Location, 5 Star Room!
The Admiral Sims House is the perfect place to stay and relax in Newport! The amenities are generous and the rooms are 5 Star level! The bathroom had everything you could need from full-size shampoo and conditioner to great body wash and makeup towels. The room was spacious with a fireplace and seating and had a well-stocked kitchenette! The room and bathroom are IMMACULATELY clean. The closet is big with plentiful velvety-flocked hangers. Staying here is a treat that should not be missed! We walked everywhere- even to and from Goat Island! Don't miss a chance to enjoy your vacation from the Admiral Sims House! In the lobby, there are beach towels and umbrellas as well as all of the guides and info you would need for a great vacay and sightseeing! Book this place, now!

Quiet place to sleep
Check In was super easy. Owners are kind and responsive. The light breakfast offered each morning was very helpful and delicious. We slept well here! We ended up spending much of our time down by the wharf and Thames street which would have been a 16-20 min walk from this place. With the hills this was not doable with all the other walking we did each day exploring Newport so we drove to the transportation and parked there at the beginning of each day.

One night stay
Me and girlfriend had a great stay, the process of checking in and out was very easy and not distracting, the room was just as shown in the photos and included A/C and wifi among other amenities, we were able to walk both to the beach and into town for dinner, over all 10/10 we will be back!

Lovely inn in a great location
This is an amazing place to stay! It is a beautiful, spotless inn with fantastic hospitality! Check-in is easy; hosts are friendly and helpful; they even provide a continental type breakfast in the morning and some snacks are available during the day. Location is in a quiet area within walking distance of the Cliff Walk.

The apartment was nice and comfortable and the host goes out of her way to make things enjoyable
The area was nice and quite. We were a nice 15 minute walk to the center of Newport. The host made things very inviting by also providing a nice little assortment of breakfast snacks in the morning. Will definitely look forward to returning to this rental in the future.

We had the most amazing time staying here! Check-in was very easy, the place was clean and had everything we could have possibly needed for our short stay! The fireplace was an awesome addition for a winter evening :) Will definitely be back again next time!

Absolutely delightful!
My daughter and I came to Newport to celebrate her 21st birthday and couldn't ask for a sweeter place to stay!! Everything was so tastefully decorated and sparkly clean, the check-in and check-out process were super simple and parking is right on the premises so no worries with that. The kitchenette is wonderful to have and we very much appreciated the gas fireplace since we were staying in December. Fresh fruit and homemade breads for breakfast were a nice touch. The host was wonderful and very responsive and was happy to give us recommendations in the area. We will definitely be back!!

A Must Stay!
From the moment we booked the property, I knew we were going to have an incredible stay. The property owners were very responsive to my questions and sent all the information we needed quickly. When we arrived, the property was spotless, and the check-in process was simple. The property is located in the perfect location and having on-site parking is a plus. They also provided us with recommendations on where to eat. I highly recommend staying here, and if/when we return to Newport, I will book here again.

This property exceeded all our expectations. Perfect location for walking downtown. Plenty of easy & free parking and the apartment is incredible. So clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. They have thought of everything! We have had 4 vacation rentals and 1 hotel in this same downtown area of Newport and can say without a doubt, that this is the place we will definitely be coming back to. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. Literally nothing I would change.

First visit to Newport
We loved staying in the apartment during our visit to Newport. The location was fabulous. Walking distance to downtown and the beautiful scenery. Also only a 5 minute drive to the beach and Cliff walk. It was clean, equipped with all the necessities and King size bed was so comfy. Would highly recommend it.

Charming convenient Newport stay
This one bedroom unit was perfectly located to all the hub bun of Newport but quiet and restful too! Sparkling clean, very comfortable beds, nicely equipped modern bathroom and kitchen. Parking was a huge advantage. Easy walking everywhere. AC and WiFi worked well. Owners were terrific to deal with, contactless check in was a breeze! Highly recommend staying here! The apartment was super cute and clean. A block from downtown Newport. We were able to bring our Chihuahuas which was great and you would not have known it was pet friendly. Highly recommend but don’t want to! Ha, ha!

Great place in great location
Very recently refurbed apartment in large older home. A+ refurb, seems bran new. Well furnished and equipped. Safe parking behind the home. Contactless check-in & out. Very helpful owners. I think there are 3 or more apps here, I was in ground floor apt.. Walk to everything except Ocean walk. I could live here in this unit for weeks or months.

Well Maintained Property
The property was in a great location in easy walking distance of lots of shops and restaurants. It was a super comfortable and spacious unit. The shower was great and the bed was cozy. Great little thoughtful extras - q-tips, cotton balls, lotion, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, and a hair dryer. I wish we had stayed long enough to get use out of the kitchen and the fireplace. Only con (for a light sleeper) was an a/c unit that rattled a little (not our bedroom’s) and I could hear all footsteps above us. Bathroom door could use some grease on the hinges too (again, for a light sleeper). Thanks for a nice night on our travels!

Fantastic in every way!!
My boyfriend and I stayed with our 3 year old dog in the apartment. It was spectacular in every way!! Shelley, the owner was wonderful and was on the property if you needed her. The apartment was immaculate and had everything you could ask for. They didn’t miss a thing!! Location is literally 2 blocks from center of town and walking the opposite direction a few blacks from Bellevue Ave. we will be back!! Thank you so much for an amazing stay!!!

Great location/super clean and new
Loved the location and the apartment, everything was super clean and spotless. Walking distance to everything, Thames, Bellevue, Broadway, Wharf. A short drive (12-15 min) to Breton state park overlooking the ocean, a short walk or very short drive to Cliff Walk and a couple of beaches. Marie and Shelley were wonderful, I happened to bump into them within 5 minutes of arrival and they sat with me to help me try to get my dog inside (he was briefly scared of the new surroundings). Only issues were some loud guests in the above apartments with zero consideration for everyone else, seemed like some 20 somethings. They were all reminded to be mindful of other guests after I complained the next morning and no more issues. Would 100% stay here again, maybe upstairs apartments for a little less noise

A couple nights in Newpirt
Property is immaculant, sparkling clean! Very comfortable and in a perfect location. You can walk everywhere, shops, restaurants etc. Check in was very easy. Parking is right on sites couple steps to entrance. Property manager were always quick to respond and helpful.. Everything about this VRBO is 5 stars! I wish we could have stayed longer!
