The house was clean, check in was easy and the house manager Susan was superb. She was always available and ready to help with anything we needed. We will definitely go back to that house. It is very nice of the owner to allow dogs in the house, our dogs are old and it’s hard to leave them behind with dog seaters when we leave on vacation. Big thanks to the owner for sharing his beautiful home and to Susan for being such a great house manager.

The location was perfect and the house was as advertised. Susan, the property manager did a great job on the introduction and even recommended an excellent private chef for a birthday. We would definitely stay here again.

Week at Newport Beach for the 4th of July

Property was clean and had plenty of space for our family. Plenty of beach accessories/toys, pool table and board games to keep the teenagers occupied. Location is prime to walk to everything. I caution anyone booking for the 4th of July as the neighborhood turned into a massive party of young adults and teens each night setting fireworks off until well past midnight with the police having to clear the beaches and enforce curfew. We had to stay inside each night but we turned it into either game night or used the multiple TVs for movie nights. We would definitely go back to this house, just not over a holiday weekend.

Wonderful location and outdoor spaces

The house is lovely and the location/view can’t be beat. There was an issue with the blinds in the primary that Susan addressed very promptly, despite it being Christmas holiday. Only downside is the complexity, there’s a decent amount to know in terms of running the house. Still would highly recommend, my family and I had a great time.

Beyond amazing!!

This place is amazing! You have everything you need to stay a few days or a few months!! We didn't want to leave!! Susan is great to work with and everything was as pictured! Definitely will be back! Don't pass on this one!

Family Getaway!

Everything was excellent from the moment we came in to leaving. The location is perfect, so sit back and enjoy! The property manager was available if and when needed and was always ready to assist.

Favorite House

We’ve stayed at several houses on the boardwalk in Newport Beach and this is by far our favorite. This house has it all! Thank you for our best stay yet! We will definitely be back!

Great for friends trips!

We enjoyed the space very much! Great location right on the beach. Beautiful sunsets each night. Very nice high end neighborhood. The number of full bathrooms was a big plus as each couple had their own. Great communication / care about our stay from the property manager!

Best rental ever!

Can't say enough great things about this property. The location is ideal, the couch and chairs on patio so comfortable, large kitchen table great for family games, nice big comfortable couch with great TV and top notch sound system (allows for music throughout the house at different sound levels), beds comfortable, shades in all the rooms, and fully stocked kitchen (makes it so easy because you don't need to buy ziplocs, spices, olive oil, etc.). Susan, the property manager, was super responsive with questions (even over Thanksgiving week) and really nice. We all loved playing pool on the top level and going in the hot tub. There are 2 bikes, which were also fun to cruise around. We are definitely going back.

Our Daughter’s Birthday

Came to Newport to celebrate our daughter’s birthday (who lives on the peninsula). Had an awesome week and enjoyed the home immensely. Brought our older daughter and husband with their 10 month old son. They loved being right on the beach. We’ve been to Newport a dozen times and this house has been by far one of our most favorite. Hope to stay here again in the future. Owner and PM were great. Thanks again, Rick and Kathy.

Perfect location and amazing home

The house is perfectly setup for a great vacation with lots of thought out in to making sure we enjoyed our stay. Susan was wonderful at making sure we had everything we needed. The house is awesome with our favorite being the patio doors that open the whole back of the house completely and a gas fire pit on the back patio (and on the roof). The location is unbeatable as it is right on the board walk so you just walk out the back directly on the beach but far enough away from the busy pier. The garage is great for parking. We fit our Yukon in it which was great. The house is awesome and well worth it for sure.

Oceanfront Newport Beach

Property has gorgeous view and very well maintained, layout perfect for 6 adults plus children… step out onto sand, walk to restaurants, air conditioning, two fridges, everything as described on website. Family went surfing, boarding, bike riding, enjoyed rooftop jacuzzi, grilling, playing pool and just kicking back. Perfect family vacation. Manager made the property perfect upon our arrival and very enjoyable. Very clean. All questions answered immediately.

Great View but noisy at night

Great Property but master is right on board walk and drunk people all night long are noisy leaving the bars from 12 midnight until 2 am. I had to trade rooms with my 15 year old who can sleep thru anything. I prefer Encinitas where you still have the ocean view but not the young drunk kids everynight including weekdays. Property manager and owner were very attentive and helpful. They had every gadget you would ever need. I never used the jacuzzi because it's on the roof would have preferred it be on the bottom balacony to enjoy with family and others but kids loved it since it was private. Beautiful home, too many electronics to figure out could have been simpler. We never could figure out how to watch TV. Music was great but if one was upstairs in the jacuzzi couldn't listen to different music downstairs on the beach patio. Very clean however great view. Clean home just to technical and too noisy for us.

Memorial Day Getaway

Our trip was absolutely amazing! The house was even more special in person, if you can believe that. Susan was an incredible host, she made us feel so incredibly welcome and gave us the complete run down on the place and area so that we could settle in right away and enjoy every moment. She was responsive, attentive, and went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect! We spent all our time on the first floor patio and roof top deck, each providing its own amazing oceanfront experience.

Christmas in Newport

Fabulous location. Very nice owner & property manager. Property manager went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable and that we had everything we needed. The only downside for us was the lengthy orientation upon check in - over an hour. Too long after a full day of travel. Would stay again.

Chillin' at the beach.

This is a beautiful property. I have a few things I would add to the description to help avoid some minor misconceptions. This is a house on the beach...with the boardwalk immediately adjacent to the patio. This means there is constant activity. Walkers, joggers, skateboarders, bikes, all going by at all hours of the day and night. It can get a little unnerving when all of these people are looking into the house. The pictures show the boardwalk, but with no one on the beach the thought never crossed our minds that this would be such a thriving hub of activity. The house is well furnished, but we found there is really too much furniture on the ground level and the sectional is not comfortable. The TV is operated by an ipad or app from your phone. It's a little too high tech for my liking. We had the experience of someone had put the master bedroom TV on a timer for a program to come on. Unfortunately for my husband and I, that occured at 1:00 a.m. on our first night. Trying to figure out how to shut the TV off without using the remote (which is there, but has a sticker on it that says DO NOT USE), was very frustrating. The bedrooms are well furnished and have lots of storage. Bathrooms are well appointed, but a little too high tech for selection of water temperature. The house is close enough to shops, restaurants and grocery store, that walking is definitely an option. We had a great time at this location, but my husband and I felt that for the price of this home, everything should be in working order. The kitchen refrigerator worked, but not the freezer. There is another refrigerator in the garage that works, but not really convenient. The dishwasher had a roller wheel missing on the bottom rack that made it very difficult to load and unload the dishwasher. Certainly usable, but again, very inconvenient. We had a wonderful time on our vacation, but it had more to do with who we were with than where we were at. This house needs some attention to detail to justify the price.
