"The hotel was in a beautiful setting and really well decorated. Location is great and just a nice half hour walk to Whitby town. Staff were super helpful and friendly- particularly in the beach house and in the spa. The restaurant was ok. Food an bit overpriced and service wasn’t amazing- such as forgot our drinks a couple of times times and wine came after finished meal. Didn’t try food in beach house but looked nice.
Opted for an outside bath room but water would only reach Luke warm, told

"We stayed a couple of yrs before and it was dirty needed decorating carpets etc but gave it another go this time and was pleasantly surprised . Smelt fresh everywhere new decor , carpets our family seaview room was big and lovely . Only thing we could say was windows need cleaning but overall great"
