"My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. The cottage is well equipped although some mobile service providers, (Vodafone) do not cover the area. Locally there is a small shop come P.O....

"The bed was super comfortable and the place was clean and tidy. The tv was not a smart tv as stated and the shower was very small , I’m glad neither of us were big people as it was tight to get between the shower and sink to use the toilet and there was no tv in the bedroom , we found on arrival a hot tub which I wish we knew about , unfortunately it was not the weather to use it. yes we would stay again despite the few little negative things . "

"We had a wonderful time. Cwmllan feels back in time in the best way. Some reviewers seemed critical of the water pressure from the spring-fed water system but this didn't bother us much at all. "We stayed for a long weekend. Everything was as you would expect, nice and clean. On the Saturday night we realised we had no hot water, at 9:00 on the Sunday morning we phoned the number out of the information pack and immediately someone came round, she couldn’t fix it straight away and we were giving options of other properties available and we’re moved straight away. "Lovely tidy property, had all the mods and cons needed but the walls were a little thin and we could hear our nextdoor neighbours, And they could probably hear us. The hot tub was a selling point for us but unfortunately it wasn’t the cleanest and couldn’t use it for long. (2 evenings max). Also, the bed was a little too short for my 6ft4 husband."
