"Have stayed several times over the last few years. Love the proximity to town (and obviously the lake!). It's hard to take a full week off so the flexible schedule at the "Maine Cabin Master's" remodel is a real blessing."

"This was my 3rd or 4th stay here, and my favorite spot in all of Maine. Even on a rainy or snowy day, it’s gorgeous. This is an older home with lots of charm, the most breathtaking views of the harbor, and everything you could need to enjoy time here indoors or out. I almost hate to add photos, as it will drive demand for this spot even higher. It’s just a stunningly beautiful space and it’s very hard to leave!"

"First off, the house is clean, has a new-ish feel, and is also very comfortable. It was refreshing to go to a rental property, and they actually have enough dish detergent or toilet paper, and we weren't running around doing that nonsense. The kitchen was a little light in terms of things like oil, seasonings, etc. But we didn't eat much at the house, so it wasn't a big deal, and also not a must from a rental. The fire pit was great, and it was nice how it's in the perfect spot on the property....

"My husband and I had a wonderful stay and especially enjoyed the incredible view and access to the water. (They have paddles and life jackets for the kayaks) We spent hours both nights on the dock and loved getting to take the kayaks out. The living space had everything we needed with lots of natural light from the wrap around windows with view of the water from all sides!! We forgot to bring coffee and they ended up having some in the kitchen already! The boat house is attached to another house...

"Location 10/10. Nice grassy area directly on the water. We were able to walk to the harbor front & shops (5 mins). Beds were comfy. Bathrooms were adequate. Towels plentiful. House is older & eclectic… we loved it! Super quiet area. Fun fact: there’s a shipwreck in the water right outside the house, visible at low tide."

It was the perfect respite for our stay before our puffin tour the next day and close to town for a concert on the common and restaurants. Note : to access one of the bedrooms you need to go through the bathroom, but it worked out fine. Dmitri was super communicative and was kind enough to let us know we left a pair of shoes there after we departed. "After a very long car trip, I was happy to walk into a clean, comfortable room with soothing colors and fluffy bed coverings. The shower was hot. The room was quiet. I sleeped very well. I stayed with my two small dogs. There is a large yard out back for their walks. The cabins are a quick drive to all major attractions, grocery store, lakes, ponds, trails, etc. It is across the road from a great pizza place and the railroad museum. Would definitely stay again. "

"Very private and peaceful! We enjoyed the yard, the dock, and the campfire. There was lots of room to spread out and enjoy the property."

"It was not easy to see where the rental was (we arrived in the dark and it's a somewhat fast speed road out in the country). Once we arrived, we saw that the camper was lit up - we just didn't know what to be looking for. But the owners instructions were clear and helpful. The climate control was a little tricky in the camper. But everything worked well and the accomadations were great - nice snacks, coffee, half and half, sugar, plenty of towels, etc. Everything was in nice shape. "

"What a beautiful location! We spent 5 nights here and would loved to have stayed longer. This was our first trip to Maine so I had plans to do several day trips while based in Boothbay. We loved it so much here that we stayed in the Boothbay area the entire time.We were able to meet the owners and they are lovely people who are very welcoming to their home.Our favorite spot was the red chairs looking out over the water.
