"Ideally placed in the centre of Knaresborough, we were welcomed warmly. The room was lovely with a generous bathroom attached. Plenty of teabags, coffee and hot chocolate sachets and fresh milk was kept in a small fridge. The chocolate was a nice touch alongside the complementary biscuits. It was very quiet and the breakfast was delicious. We will certainly visit again. "

"Where can I begin with this dream! If I could give 7 stars I would. We have stayed in many 5 stars all over the world, I can firmly put this in the top 3. From the moment we arrived, Grantley Hall was a sensational experience. Issac holding the fort at the front gate, dressed impeccably, welcomed us like family and with so much energy it was like a shot of espresso! "We've stayed before, the hotel overall is extremely good and staff in all areas and departments are polite and very helpful. The hotel is quite busy remains quiet and relaxing. If there is a downside, the bathrooms are tired and need upgrading. We always have an exec room. They have been modernised and upgraded, with the exception of carpets. But the bathrooms have not. Our extractor fan didn't work at all. "

"Room was wonderful, window with fresh air was so appreciated as we were both recovering from being sick while traveling. Monica welcomed us with an efficient and informative check-in and shared parking details and recommended we visit the Turkish Baths, so we did! Great location about a 10 minute walk from most things. All in all, a lovely visit, and wishing Monica and co-owner all good things. If we pass through Harrogate again, there is only one place we will stay!"

"Perfect for a single room, single night stopover. Great central location, lots of great bar, cafe and restaurant options - as well as being right across from the conventions venue. The room and bathroom were small but perfect for my needs. Immaculately clean, very quiet, with everything I needed. And the bed was blissfully comfortable! Friendly greeting by staff on arrival too. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Wonderful hotel from the beautiful facade and wonderful welcome from friendly staff to the beautiful, clean well appointed room. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was excellent. We were bowled over as we brought our two dogs and are used to getting dingy yet to be updated rooms. Here the dogs were welcomed with a biscuit and the room supplied dog beds, bowls and toys. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was very good and the again service was faultless. Very convenient to the...
