"I did not get to stay at the OVO, I booked the wrong date (my error), but having paid Expedia for insurance that would alow me to make changes to the booking, the venue wanted to charge a handling fee that was 100% of the room cost. seeing that it would have cost me the full room cost on top of whatever the actual day would cost me I decided not to cancel and to book elsewhere."

"From the minute we stepped inside we were welcomed by friendly helpful staff. The rooms were clean and roomy. The food was excellent and the dining room service was excellent…..evening meal and breakfast. The views were incredible, the location was beautiful. "On arrival could have done with better signage as to where to park as we ended up parking at Forbidden Corner. Also not easy to find Reception and when we did find there was no-one there for 10 mins. Room nice, dressing gown and slippers nice touch. Had evening meal in the bar which was ok and staff were attentive. Meals on the Sunday finished at 5 and bar closed which was inconvenient. We were informed no staff on site again until Wed. We couldn’t boil kettle Mon morning as electric went off...

"From check in to check out the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. In fact, from when you pull into the car park you get the feeling it’s a special place. The building is a beautifully well maintained old building with some rather stunning modern extras. The room we had was spacious and beautifully presented, with a very comfy bed! Spacious bathroom with walk in shower. The bar area, lounge areas, breakfast and dinner room were clean, tidy, and again had that old style feel but with modern...
