"We enjoyed this quiet location for a snowy winter getaway. The chalet was super clean, very welcoming, and had plenty of room for all of us. We only missed firewood being stocked inside for us to use especially since the wood outside was damp. Otherwise, everything was pretty fab."

" Joe and Donna’s lake home is beautiful with all the amenities and comfort’s of home. This is now my “happy place”! I especially enjoyed being able to use the canoe and kayaks and have unlimited access to the pond. We saw beaver, Canadian Geese and even a loon during on our stay. Joe and Donna are very responsive and full of tips on hiking and sightseeing in this beautiful countryside. I can’t wait to book my next stay! "

"Todd is a wonderful host. He is extraordinarily responsive. The house is beautifully set up. The kitchen has everything you need to make full meals you can enjoy in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the stunning valley. The house is an easy drive to Willoughby lake and Mt, Pisgah for a day of hiking. "We've enjoyed our stay at the kirby. The view is breathtaking .Kitchen is fully stocked but some of the utensils have broken handles. But it wasnt a big deal. One of the upstair room have no air conditioner so it gets warm on a hot days. Overall we love the kirby and plan to come back next fall."

"My husband and I stayed four nights at Leah’s place. She and her husband were absolutely wonderful hosts. Very, very nice people. :) Great location if you want something quiet with beautiful view over the mountain. it’s very close to Island Pond and also to Silvio Conte wildlife refuge.
