"We were very impressed with Jack Pines Resort! We reserved a small cabin for a few days and did not realize all that this property had to offer! We didn't have a chance to rent an ATV but did enjoy walking some of their beautiful trails. The cabin was clean and comfortable. All of the staff we met were friendly and eager to help. Next time we visit, we will be more prepared to enjoy all of their amenities! This was a great place for us and our dog to get away and I would certainly recommend...

"From the moment we arrive we were blown away at the size and the cozy, friendly ambiance this home gave us. The home was very clean and thoughtfully stocked; it is truly the best-equipped vacation rentals I’ve ever stayed in. Everything is well labeled so we knew which light switch was for which light ( which is very helpful in the size of the house) We thought the room names were a fun twist. We had one rainy day and we were not lacking in entertainment with all the games, pool table, and ping...

"There were 6 of us to celebrate my daughter getting her Bachelors of Science in Aeronautics from UND! The weather was rainy and cold during our stay. The lake ice bath was perfect and the hot tub and indoor facilities were Awesome!! Just what we needed to rest and revive after the Grad Ceremonies! Love the open space and it felt like home to us. "This is the ultimate relaxation point!!!My husband and I needed a getaway and this cute spot on Lake Ethel was exactly what the doctor ordered! Lake Ethel is such a peaceful location. We were able to enjoy rain every morning of our stay, with nothing but sun shortly afterwards. Gentle breezes kept the bugs at bay and cooled the heat. I saw my first loon during a kayaking trip across the lake one late morning. A pair of these beautiful birds were soaking up the sun while floating. The owners are...

"Check-in was very easy. Host was quick with responding, and friendly. Kitchen was great! Everything you could need fully stocked, very nice grill and stove. Microwave, coffee maker and full fridge and freezer. We didn’t eat out at all because of how great the kitchen was. We had the best time here and would definitely come back!"

"This property is misleading. There isn’t a beach area to swim in, play at or dock your boat. The large hill and lack of accessible boat dock restricted the older men in our party from getting in the boat so they watched from the patio. The room with bunk beds had ants, not great for the kids. The bathroom toilet had a leak, which lead to a perpetual wet rug. We made the best of our stay and time spent with family but this little cabin needs some TLC and an updated description. "

"We came to the area for a wedding that was just down the road at Thumper pond. The house was clean and had lots of space. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to utilize the lake access. FYI the access is across the road, not directly on the property. Overall we would recommend! "
