"The Augustine" Large 2 BR/2 BATH

Developed and designed in the 1800s by the Baroness de Pontalba, who was dubbed one of the most dynamic personalities in the city's history, this beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo highlights the authentic New Orleans character. We are centrally located, making it ideal for vacation renters looking to be apart of our beautiful city for a couple days. We are close to all of New Orleans attractions: Cafes, Restaurants, Jackson Square, Bourbon Street and upscale nightlife. Parking is available all around the neighborhood.

Great for a girls trip!

This was a great condo for our girls trip (party of 5). The space was lovely and the location was fantastic-we easily walked everywhere we planned to go! Host was very communicative!

Bocelli Concert

We came into town to see Andrea Bocelli and didn’t want to deal with a hotel. Had stayed here once before and really liked the location, layout and security of being in a building with a locked lobby downstairs and interior access to the apartment. Only recommendation I would have is to put up a rod to hang clothes on the guest bedroom, fix the guest bath door to the hall so it will latch and make it clear there is no soap provided for showers. Luckily Walgreens is just a short walk. Would recommend and will stay there again in the future.

Good location-Needs TLC

Great location with good AC, comfortable beds, and lots of ice. Toilet is a safety concern especially since there were seniors in our group. Seat covers broken on one side and toilet itself rocks like a rocking chair. Towels were stained on arrival and sheets and blankets were stained and had holes in them in both rooms. All living room furniture is uncomfortable, tv reception bad, and wifi cannot be picked up anywhere but living room. Im glad we were out and about for the most part, but we still had a great time.

Honest review

The hosts were good to work with, check-in and out was good. Parking is nearby within a block away but is very expensive. The unit was clean and was accurate to the pictures on VRBO, the beds were comfortable. The location is great and walking distance to everything Nola has to offer. the neighborhood appears to be safe, we never had any concerns, not allot of traffic on the street from cars which is nice Things that I was disappointed in are, no storage in the smaller bedroom for clothes etc.. we basically worked out of our suitcases. the living room furniture looks nice in the room but is not comfortable at all and is very small furniture. I would definitely stay there again but would ask the host for a unit that may have more sq footage and storage in all the bedrooms. there are other units in the building, but I am not sure if they are any bigger

Beautiful, super clean, fantastic location! Wish we could have stayed longer!

My sisters and I had a girls trip with our mother, who is 84. This beautifully decorated and furnished property was super clean and the location is wonderful! Although we were located very close to Bourbon Street, the building was very quiet and yet, we were right where the action was- able to easily walk to restaurants, shopping, street car stops, a piano bar and my favorite-just around the corner, a great coffee shop with beignets! One day after shopping, we stopped into a restaurant and bought hurricanes to go and took them back to our condo. I would like to give a huge thanks to the people at My Southern Comfort for giving us restaurant and parking tips before our arrival and for the simple check in process. We had THE BEST time and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Condo was great for our group. Very clean. Practical layout. Bedrooms were a little tight but kitchen and location made up for it. Customer service was great. Parking recommendations could be a little better but overall really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect NOLA Weekend

We spent a quick weekend with family and this was the perfect place for us! Walking distance to all things NOLA… Food, drinks, shopping, you name it and it’s there as soon as you step out of the building! Our space was clean, roomy, and well stocked with what we needed for our weekend with 4 adults and 2 kids. Can’t wait to come back and stay here for another foodie, fun filled weekend!

Amazing stay!

We really enjoyed this property and it was central to everything. Walkable to coffee shops and great restaurants. The decor was very New Orleans style and very nicely updated. I would definitely stay here again!

Great place, lots of character, great location.

3 night stay, walking distance from everything in the French Quarter, the WW2 museum, trolley to the Garden District. Jennifer the host was always available. Highly recommended.

Did not disappoint

Perfect space for 4 adults. Very walkable location to all areas of the city. If you want to be assured there is coffee, soap for shower or tissues, bring your own. Overall a beautiful place with a responsive owner.

Great location

Perfect spot to walk to French Quarter and Frenchmen Street. Nearby we highly recommend Fleur de Lis for breakfast, Mahogany bar for intimate live Jazz music and Erin Rose for a classic Irish bar. The place had everything 4 adults needed. We did not use the kitchen.

This apartment is perfectly situated to the liveliest neighborhoods in New Orleans. There are high windows with a lot of light. Beds were super comfy and towels fluffy.

Great place!

This place was great! Clean and really nicely renovated and decorated. The location is in the heart of the French Quarter, but a few blocks from Bourbon St so it's not too noisy. Ideal for walking just about anywhere, or grabbing a quick Uber (which are abundantly available) to farther spots. Check-in & out was easy with clear instructions, and the property contact was easy to get a hold of. Definitely recommend staying here!
