"This hotel is absolutely a hidden oasis! We enjoyed every moment of the stay in this hotel. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. The unit we stayed was spacious and clean. The location was excellent, right in the center of the French Quarter! Amazingly inside the unit it was very quiet. The beds were very comfortable. The living area was spacious. There were always bottles of water and cans of soda drinks available for the guests. The pool was well maintained. Valet parking was very quick...

Único inconveniente foi que ficamos no 9º andar e ouvia se barulho de maquinas a noite, poos, ficavam acima do quarto. Não se em andares mais baixos ouviria. Fora isso, o hotel é excelente. Lobby bastante movimentado ppr causa do bar. Com certeza me hospedaria novamnete."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Haunted Hotel and Christina could not have been more hospitable!! She had the room warm and comfortable for our late arrival. Her directions for entering the property were excellent and included videos. We really enjoyed the courtyard and overall the hotel was very quiet and relaxing while being a short walk from the heart of the action in the French Quarter. The old building had so much character and charm. We loved our stay. "

"Near Frenchman street and French quarter, clean and nice, w private entrance- a couple of random people came and knocked on the door in the evening but they were just some guy who obviously expected someone else to be there and a guy wanting to use the water hose for his dog but this did not bother me"

"With so many good hotel options in New Orleans, Melrose Mansion was a fantastic surprise. Private free parking, excellent location near the busiest part but a paradise, big room , nice swimming pool, free breakfast and light drinks!! Not very common in USA… the staff fantastic. We remember the sympathy and friendly Brian… always there!! We will be back even from very far as we are in Europe… thanks a lot for such an experience!!"

" Very nice location, close to the french quarter and restaurants. The room was very spacious and nice. It could be improved by having extra space to acommodate the guests belongings, like a dresser. There is more than enough room for that. Also, it would be helpful to have extra places to hang bath towels. The roof top has a very nice view. We had breakfast at the hotel and thefood was very good. Very nice and helpfull staff."

"Very courteous staff, particularly front desk and valet. First timers to New Orleans and only had one whole day to spend so wanted to be in the French Quarter area. Great stay and close to all of the things we wanted to see!"
