"As with any historic hotel, one should not expect everything to be shiny and perfect. That being said, this hotel is pretty well maintained, and its charm makes up for the cracks in the walls. "Our room was large, the bed was very comfortable. Everyplace in the hotel you looked, it was very clean. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast, but good, waffles, eggs, sausage etc. Not so crazy about the channel selections on the television. Great place to stay! "
