"We very much enjoyed our stay at this location. The stairs were a bit scary, but with the light on, you'll be fine. :) Cozy spot for the three of us, well appointed and in a fantastic area. Very walkable, even down to the wharf. We are from a very non-walkable area, so it was amazing to see all the activity and places we could go just walking a bit. We enjoyed our first time in Maine, and can't wait to get back for a longer trip. Thanks to the hosts!"

"This is an ideal location for a fun getaway for any season. Plenty of room for a large/extended family. While there is a road between the house and lake it didn’t detract from the experience at all. Pro tip, in cooler seasons turn on the ceiling fans to push the warmer air down. Otherwise the main room will feel cold. The dock is slightly off level and a couple doors don’t latch completely but those are just signs of a well loved camp."

"This was our first time in Portland, and the location was perfectly suited for us to see everything! We were able to walk to restaurants and a little market around the corner. The home was easy to access and we were always able to find a parking spot. "We really enjoyed our stay. We loved being able to walk to the Eastern Promenade. The beds, including the sofa bed were very comfortable. Very cute and cozy There are stairs to enter the building for anyone with mobility issues. If you are unfamiliar with older buildings, the radiators do make some noise while heating in the winter."

"This property was perfect for our group of 10 girls!!! It was much bigger than I was even anticipating, beautiful home and very clean. *Very* safe and nice neighborhood, which was incredibly important for us girls. The hot tub was the best part and the fireplace was great too. No complaints with our stay at all, though I wish it was a walking distance to downtown. It was about a 10 minute car ride so we ubered for our stay which worked out pretty good and was still cheap! The host lives upstairs...

"The second time I have rented this property. Not as clean this time but fully equipped. The whole outside including chairs could use a good power wash. A bat was found in a corner of downstairs bedroom. CO2 monitor went off 3 times once at 5:30AM. I assume after calling the number it was serviced as it never went off again although no follow up call or note was left that it had been serviced?"
