"House was spectacular but unfortunately had litter at the bottom of the deck & the stairs leading to the lake. We found a caught mouse in a bathroom cabinet & generally felt like it should've been much more tidy. Still 4/5 stars as the property is amazing."

"My family had a wonderful stay . The house had a beautiful peaceful lake view . It had all the essentials needed . The fire pit area was great and the hot tub was a bonus . The host was very quick to respond and detailed . We enjoyed our stay and plan to go back. "

"Positively: the room was clean, we appreciated a room with 3 queen beds, the AC worked, check-in was smooth Negatively: the breakfast was high carb with few protein options and the coffee was out, our room was hot when we arrived and the AC took a long time to cool down, the bathroom fan did not work"

"We wanted a good night's sleep and a shower which was what we got. The room had working TV, microwave, and refrigerator. They just replaced the ice machine so we weren't able to take advantage of it.$100 deposit was returned at checkout. Staff was friendly and helpful"

"If you like the feel of an era of a time gone by, you will not be disappointed. This place has been restored to spindler and makes the entire place easier to just relax. The staff on duty were attentive without being intrusive and we were able to be ourselves. I really hope we get a chance to return as I would really really enjoy a longer stay."
