"My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The location is definitely off the beaten track and so peaceful. The staff were super friendly and we enjoyed the cafe, the pottery studio, pool, animal feeding, walking tracks. Some things like toasters, BBQ, could do with an upgrade 😉"

"We had a wonderful time at this beautiful historic hotel. The staff are the greatest asset, and provide genuine, heartfelt excellent service in everything they do. The team that looks after the rooms is also exceptional. Having seen some other people’s reviews, I think you need to bear in mind that this is a building which is more than 100 years old, and it has been updated to a very comfortable and pleasant experience. "The room was fairly clean, but it was a glorified tent, so we did not expect primo cleanliness. The area is a bit remote, so staff was not readily available. The restaurant was good and the staff there was excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We had a good time, and we would return there again without hesitation. "
