"My husband and I stayed at this lakeside retreat in early May. Our son in law's family have a cottage down the road. While we spent most of our day in the other cottage, we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the Lakeside retreat. It is very well appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed working on a few puzzles and listening to music on the Google Home Sound system. We hope to come again one day with our granddaughters and swim in the Medway river and Ponhook lake."

"5 in total, in our 50’s and 60’s! The house was amazing, so clean and spacious, comfortable beds, fully stocked with what a kitchen needs, great fire pit and area to sit down at the dock. "Very beautiful and well kept house on a Great Lake. Bald eagles, osprey, lions, geese and ducks every day. Chuckle the red squirrel would come up to door every morning to say high and get a couple of peanuts. Although the weather was typical or a Canadian Victoria Day weekend, we were always nice and warm and dry. Will definitely be returning."

"LOVE the back yard. Love that you can sit in the sun OR in the shade, both are available. REALLY enjoyed the paddle boat and walking around the neighbourhood and doing yoga outside. The area is absolutely beautiful."
