While many of our guests have truly enjoyed the peaceful, shallower stretch of the Guadalupe River which is currently about 6 feet deep towards the center, we’re excited to share that the full lake experience is coming back! The dam rebuild is on track to wrap up by mid-September 2025, with the lake set to refill this October.
That means lake views, boating, jet skiing, and all your favorite waterfront activities will return just in time for late 2025 getaways.
As always, timelines depend on weather and final inspections, but everything is moving forward right on schedule. We can’t wait to welcome guests back to a fully restored lake experience!


Property Highlights:


Experience direct river access in a completely private setting—perfect for large family gatherings, celebrations, retreats, birthdays, and more. A favorite among kids, our location offers excellent opportunities for kayaking, fishing, and making s’mores around a large fire pit.
• Booking includes BOTH the Main and Guest House (15ft apart). Houses cannot be rented separately.
• Accommodates up to 32 guests
• Direct river access via a short staircase leading to a beach-style area.
• Water level typically around 6 feet, may fluctuate due to rainfall.

• Kayak & paddleboard rentals available nearby (or bring your own). Note: No motorized watercraft access.
- 70 foot Dock on the river with seating, lighting and umbrellas

• Large circular fire pit with bench seating and café lighting (wood provided for one fire; additional wood may be brought).
• Pet-friendly environment.
• Huge shaded yard, perfect for outdoor games and the events.

Accommodations:

• 11 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, 3 kitchens. Layout below
• Sleeps 28 in beds and 6 on futons. Maximum occupancy, including visitors, is 32 (children 5 and under not counted).
• The Main House features a large kitchen open to dining and living areas, stocked with all necessary kitchen tools.
• Some bedrooms have a pass-through design; however, alternative routes are available and rooms can be locked for privacy.
• A full list of suggested items to pack will be provided after booking.



Events:

• Ideal for family reunions, celebrations, retreats, birthdays, large family gatherings (must stay within maximum 32 guest occupancy).
• Not an official “venue”; guests must provide their own setup and teardown.
• Local caterers, florists, bakeries, and rental services list available upon booking.

• The Main and Guest Houses are included in every booking.
• The Main House is a 2-story building with a fully stocked kitchen, dining, and living areas overlooking a large yard and river.
• The Guest House includes 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a kitchenette.
• The property is not handicap accessible but has been found suitable by some guests with limited mobility.
