"All staff were extremely friendly and down to earth. Very warm greeting by the owner on arrival introducing herself and giving a brief history of the business. Showed us around and explained how things are done with the bar, breakfast etc. even introducing us to their pet, Lionel the parrot. We were given a choice of 2 rooms to pick from. "The whole property was amazingly tastefully decorated..the staff were all very friendly..the room was very spacious with a very large comfortable bed..very modern bathroom...tray with bottled water, tea, cafetiere coffee, milk sugar..fridge in wardrobe...very tasty breakfast...would highly recommend and will definitely return..."

Like stepping into an Agatha Christie movie, beautiful furnishings of an era in history.
