"Don't rely on the photos. Stay for the ice cream shop and the beautiful lake. If the manager spent some time fixing up the space or cleaning instead of sitting outside yelling at guests, it would probably be a nicer atmosphere. Second time coming here, have recommended to friends and family. I understand that the property is old, but that doesn't excuse the fact that it was filthy. Spots on sheets, had to wear sandals in the shower for how nasty the bathrooms were."

"The motel is ok. The staff wasn't helpful they were on their phone unless we asked questions. The questions we asked couldn't be answered . Tv didn't work. Breakfast left everyone hungry, juice machine didn't work. The spa was closed and the pool hours were early. I don't normally complain but wouldn't recommend this place."

"The reason this review is so favorable is the general manager, Jessica. We met her at check-in and she was delightful, she personified Hospitality. She helped us with everything from the tv to where we might dine, with a smile and a super helpful attitude. If she was closer to my home I’d try to poach her for my business. "Our stay at this beautiful lake home was absolutely wonderful. The house was in close proximity to relatives who live on a nearby lake.
