"We enjoyed our stay at the Peartree. Nice property and very clean. Front desk staff were wonderful and helpful. The 2 bedroom apartment was fabulous, spacious and quite comfy. It is conveniently located across the street from the Salisbury station, which was an added bonus. I would definitely stay here again. "

"We stayed at Whitley Coach House to spend a few days in the area before attending a wedding in Frome. Tim and Ginny’s communication was excellent, and they were even kind enough to provide a travel cot last minute as we had ordered one ourselves that we didn’t think would come in time (although it did in the end). The coach house itself was spacious enough for the three of us, with everything one might need for a few days away. "

"We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Great location for sight seeing and eating out. Wi fi was slow but not a massive issue and certainly not a deal breaker. Would recommend and stay here again. "

"The property is updated and clean. It's close to shopping and eateries. The only negative comment I have is that their website needs to update how to enter the apartment. Instead of stating to enter code and push door, tell patrons to enter door and turn knob while the button on the knob is still green. It was, honestly, a bit confusing. Other than that, everything was excellent!"

"Alma House looks charming. It is situated in a quiet location just off the main square. There is one parking place, additional parking in paying car parks close by. Check-in was straightforward. Our host contacted us to check that we were happy with the property on arrival. The internal decor was in very good condition. The property feels spacious. The kitchen was well-equipped, but Marlborough has multiple places to eat if it would be preferable to eat out. There is a Waitrose a few doors...

"The apartment was as stated and shown in pictures. There is a large car park around the block from the apartment - handy information to know ahead of time as we drove past the property a few times before determining there was no driveway. The VRBO site noted close to public transportation- bus to London right outside the door! Close to dining options, and there is a nice supermarket at the car park area. "

"We wanted a quiet, rural retreat in a character cottage and this place totally delivered. It may not be for everyone, but we knew what we were getting when we came. The house was built in 1710. The cottage, with its thatched roof has all the character you could ask for. The kitchen and bathroom are modern, well equipped and the sitting area is comfortable. There's a spacious downstairs bedroom that was has been added with two large bedrooms upstairs. The beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed the...

"We had a lovely time here with our 2 year old for two nights. We stayed in the Bluebell Pod which was so cosy and comfortable. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed the woods and the animals. Many thanks. Hope to come again next year! "

A real find in the Wiltshire countryside

"We really liked this hotel a lot. We arrived late on Friday, after picking up my wife from the airport, but the reception staff were ready and waiting and when we decided to go to the bar for a nightcap, the bar staff were friendly and not rushed at all, even with only hand an hour till closing. The room was spacious and comfy, with a great bathroom, nice toiletries, effective air con, and nice complimentary tea, coffee, water and biscuits, etc. Breakfast was great, really well organised, and the distance to the city centre is easily manageable on foot. We made use of the free shuttle into the city in the evening, as it was raining and, again, the staff were super helpful. Ample parking, a fair few electric charge points for EVs and a great location for the road out to stonehenge, too. "
