The apartment was beautiful and had everything we needed.The check in was horrible. We had agreed to meet at the apartment at 6pm. Google maps gave us directions to the street above and behind the apartment, stating we had "arrived". I tried to call Thomas, but the call didn't go through. After about an hour of trying to figure it out, asking a man for help, walking the street Google maps claimed was accurate, I tried calling Thomas again and the call did go through. I was surprised and shocked by his response - not offering to help us (" I don't know where you are"). Yelling at me for not calling, ignoring my repeated statements that I tried to call. Thomas also stated that the person meeting us had left and he had no way to let us into the house. A car with 3 women stopped to help They showed us where the house was. We found the house, and were pleasantly surprised to be greeted by a very friendly woman. She told us she understood that we were lost and not to worry about being late. And, she showed us a key box outside the door with the house key!So, instead of helping us. Thomas yelled at me and lied to me. I expect much better treatment and service from someone I am renting from, especially considering we are not from Spain and traveling in a country for the first time.
