"Great location, nice beach area with fire pit. You might want to bring an axe for kindling. The upstairs loft has steep stairs and a low ceiling. If you're tall or have mobility issues you'll find it a bit challenging. Hammocks would make a great addition. Overall it's a cool, little cabin on Kootenay Lake."

"Great little place to stay during our motorcycle trip through the area. Amenities were clean and well stocked. As long as people are aware of what you’re getting and the fact that the bathroom, kitchen is separate etc. it was really cute and super fun. Felt like camping, but without having to lug any of the gear and a much more comfortable place to sleep. Just what we were looking for."

"This cabin was very well updated and had a beautiful creek flowing right past the deck. Checkin was very smooth and the owner had great communication and was available for any questions I may have had. The cabin is located only a few minutes from Nelson but sits amongst trees and lush plants that gives good privacy. The cabin was very clean and had great appliances and I would not hesitate to book it again, "

"I was looking for a place to spend a couple of days to take a break on while traveling on business & this was a perfect place as it was quiet area. We spent most of our time out on the deck & enjoying the creek & nature. The cabin was clean & well stocked & would highly recommend staying here & will defiantly plan on coming back."

"Beautiful view! Cozy house with all the amenities - appreciated the smart TV on a rainy night. The driveway down to the house was a bit rough for a small car, ended up parking at the top after the first night. Inside, everything was very clean and tidy. Good ventilation with the opening windows and air conditioning."

"this is an adorable little property! the outdoor seating area is lovely, perfect for a relaxing drink around the fire or for roasting mashmallows with the kids. the bed might actually be the most comfortable bed i've ever slept in. check in was super easy, and the location was amazing. very close to the city making access to services a breeze while also being secluded and peaceful enough that you forget you're essentially still in the city "

"The cabin is directly on the beach, you can hear the waves through an open window at night. The place is clean with great amenities including access to kayak and paddleboards, a delightful outdoor shower and lots of room to swim. The host is friendly and welcoming, she has a ton of local information and is responsive to any issues. The area is quiet and a lovely place to rest and relax. "
