The Treehouse Nelson Bay, Pet Friendly with Boat Parking

The Treehouse is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Open the bi-fold doors and take in the pool and surrounds from the comfort of the living room. Relax on the balcony that surrounds the house and take in the holiday ambience. Plenty of driveway and street parking for cars, boats etc. Take a 10-minute walk to the centre of Nelson Bay, or a 5–10-minute drive to the beautiful bays and surf beaches the area has to offer.

I booked this accommodation for 5 nights, 2 adults and one very small, very curious Maltese. The check in process was smooth, and all information had been provided before arrival on the day. The property itself is very homely, comfortable, clean and came with all the conveniences of my own home. Colleen the host, is very friendly and professional; and answered any questions I had almost immediately. The location is excellent if you just want to hideaway from the world for a little while and is very private. There is enough space so if it's just two people and a pup or a family of 5 you won’t feel like anyone is getting in your way. The shops and beaches are easy to get to and are a short drive away. The pool area was my favourite part of the property, I spent so many hours there, again it’s very private so no prying neighbours and the trees provide adequate shade on hot days. Overall it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend booking a break at aptly named The Treehouse.

Great location, very private. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. The host was very welcoming and easy to communicate with.

The house was ok but needs a lot of work Main living area was the best place to be looking out at the pool at night. However starting with the kitchen stove was very unsafe and dangerous. You could see where the back burners are slowly melting window frame below kitchen sink on the floor were nails coming through floorboard going upstairs into the bedrooms. They all are very very clean. However main bedroom door does not close and bed was very uncomfortable. Maybe he needs new mattress windows throughout the house gave great ventilation however don’t lock properly there is only one main bathroom and shower in the house two toilets but one is downstairs right next to the kitchen. In the main bathroom, the shower leaks majorly all over the floor even after being very careful closing the glass door could be smashed very easy as it hits the main frame. We had to put a towel between the two areas of glass for a piece of mine. The window in the bathroom has no blinds. Yes there is just bush outside but a blind would make you feel more private.Moving outside the front of the house on the veranda is fantastic very clean and feels safe however the rear of the property is the exact opposite walking around the back veranda. Lots of the spiderwebs not a nice place to be the very small patch of grass and needs TLC big time and the surrounding edges have an old wire fence Broken items thrown over the fence. All surrounding gardens need to be trimmed back cleaned. Owners were very nice

Really enjoy staying at the Treehouse and would happily visit again in the future. The property is as per photos, was clean, had everything you would need and the pool was a lovely temperature. Really appreciate that our little dog was welcome too (he was very happy at the nearby dog beach!), and the host was lovely to communicate with.

The Treehouse WOW!. So beautiful and quietly perched amidst nature, this hidden gem was a pleasure to stay in. With morning and evening songs the birds and the trees offer, you will never feel alone sitting outside having an early morning coffee or a late evening wind down from the hussle and bussle of all the activities that this beautiful place has to offer. To our host Colleen, Thank You! for the swift communication appreciate your no delay in response, and for welcoming us to our stay in your beautiful abode. Us and our pets absolutely enjoyed the snug comfort, peace and quiet your home had offered us on our stay. Definetly will return.
