Great spot to recover after skiing

The location is great for reaching the ski slopes and the restaurants. The farm house was quiet and peaceful. Great response from the host when we accidentally locked out the front door. We saw lots of deer and turkeys.

30th Birthday Weekend

The house was amazing, had everything we needed, and the location was perfect to enjoy all that Nelly 151 had to offer. It was very cold and much snow, so we did not really get a chance to explore the property itself, but would like to return to see it all. Word to the wise, if you are looking for 5 dedicated bedrooms, as advertised, the house does not have that, but the sleeping quarters were comfortable for a close family. A couple replacement pieces of furniture is all it needs. We really had fun here.

Peaceful Getaway

The house, property and location were beautiful. Lots of places to roam and explore. Close drive to sherando lake for the kids to play and lots of great places to eat with beautiful back drops.

Little piece of heaven

My husband and I and our two kids recently stayed at this charming home. The location was perfect, we were surrounded by nature yet a stones throw away from breweryā€™s, ice cream and easy trails to wander. We found many fun spots to play in the streams nearby. The home is incredibly well stocked and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend this wonderful home.

Easley Thanksgiving

The property was beautiful! The cabin was very cozy and there was plenty of room for everyone. Our group liked to run in the morning and they came back everyday with stories of the wildlife that they would see. The area is so pretty and just walking each day was fun! The kitchen was well stocked. Our Thanksgiving dinner was in the sunroom and held all ten of us. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch every night looking at the stars!

Fall Colors Weekend

We had our 3 kids and 2 dogs there for a three day weekend of fall festivals, hiking, brewery hopping and just relaxing. The location and property couldn't have been better suited for our crew and what we were looking to do. Everything we wanted to do was with within minutes of the cabin. Loved it!

Wonderful country home

The property is beautiful, private, and exactly as described in the listing. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook homemade meals, plenty of bedding, and the host did a wonderful job of communicating details and having the home prepared for us. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Home Close to Everything!

Excellent hosts that were very responsive and helpful. Home was as advertised and very beautiful. Close to hiking trails, wineries, breweries, and much more. Gorgeous wooded property with a small stream in the back for the kids to play in. Will definitely recommend and we'll be staying here again!

Overall had a good experience. The house location was great, good proximity to wineries and breweries in the area. The house could use a thorough cleaning though, items in the kitchen were greasy and floors needed cleaning. House was good, but could have been nicer. .

Nice time, but wouldnā€™t stay here again.

When we arrived at this adorable barn-like home, we were so excited to start the weekend and enjoy our stay. Immediately arriving, it was freezing in the house however normal heat should change that when turned on. This heating system was very delayed for us and didnā€™t fully work until the next day. This made our first night frigid. Just other things to note: the shower in the master doesnā€™t have a shower head and the pressure is lacking, one of the doors in the living room wouldnā€™t lock so it made 6 girls being alone in the woods that much more scary, on top of all of this there was mold excessively coating the inside of the dishwasher and a terrible smell. We reached out to the property owner and she was reasonable and felt bad but in the end seemed passive aggressive and said it was a ā€œsmall problem.ā€
