"The property and water smelled like sewage. We were told to let the water run. The smell still persisted so we were unable to shower at the property. We had to use bottled water to brush our teeth. There were dead bees and lady bugs in the carpet. The bedding was not fresh it smelled musty. The WiFi did not work and there is very little reception in that particular area so communicating with others was difficult. The lights upstairs did not work. "Great price for rooms and extremely clean. Amenities were nice to be close to for a bar/food and a cute coffee shop. The property didn’t list in vrbo that it did have a mini fridge, coffee pot and toaster and the property is very well updated. Extremely convenient parking for ATVs. We will absolutely share this little resort property to everyone that will be visiting that area. We are excited to plan our next trip and rent in this listing. the host was quick to respond when I reached out to them...

"What a fantastic place for friends and/or family to get together! The house is set up perfectly for everyone to hang out and be together in common spaces while also giving everyone privacy of their own room and many bathroom options. The "apartment" was directly connected to the house and simply felt like an additional upper level. The home is clean and spacious and well appointed. "I stayed at Pheasant Cottage with my two dogs, and it was perfect. The view of the lake is beautiful, and the backyard is huge. The canoes are nearby, and the cottage is separated from the lodge so it feels secluded, even when the resort is fully booked. We'd love to come again! "
