This beautiful cabin was handcrafted by local artisans, offering custom furniture and finishings built from beautiful, reclaimed hardwood. This newly constructed retreat pays homage to the history of the Appalachians while offering modern amenities like air conditioning, a full kitchen, and internet. Retreat to the covered porch overlooking a gorgeous fishing pond or relax on the balcony and look at the stars. You can fish from the deck. Enjoy the sounds of the bullfrogs and watch the fireflies from the balcony at night.
Our cabin is easily accessible from the highway and is less than a fifteen minute drive from the lovely downtown Marion and Lake James. You can shop, check out local restaurants and festivals, boutiques, Bigfoot book store, coffee shops, breweries, and the Meadery. When you’re done exploring downtown, come home to the cabin and nap in the king-size bed upstairs alongside a balcony on the second story. It is cozy, comfortable, relaxing, and the perfect getaway for couples or good friends. If you’re looking to unplug, unwind, relax, and take in the views and serene aroma and sounds of the foothills of North Carolina, our cabin is the perfect place for you! Lots of outdoor adventures are waiting to be explored nearby too. We do have modern conveniences which includes a full kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, k-cup coffee maker, toaster, linens, dishes and silverware, beer mugs in the freezer, ice, smart TV, Wi-Fi and a desk space if you happen to need to work during your stay. The bedroom is in the loft with stairs as shown. The cabin sleeps 2 comfortably, can sleep up to 3 upon request.
