"Very secluded mountain getaway. Make sure you have your groceries before you arrive, because you won't want to leave home. It was so quiet, and the birds singing songs before sunrise were just priceless! Would love to stay here again. Highly recommended. "

We would really like to thank our host Mrs. Liz for convincing us to come when we were having second thoughts as we thought that the area and property were damaged by the hurricane Helen. The house is very convenient at all 3 levels and views are amazing. We would highly recommend this property for families (including 4 legged members 😊) who would like to enjoy the beautiful nature NC has to offer."

"We had a great time during our family 4th of July escape. The house was great. Had awesome adventures golfing, exploring Chimney Rock State Park and getting into downtown Asheville once. We cooked in the very well stocked kitchen. We can only imagine how awesome it will be when Lake Lure is back in action with swimming and boating options. Hoping the area recovers fully from the devastation of Helene. "

"We had a great time at the Hemlock Creek Cabin! The sound of the creek in the distance made sitting on the deck a real pleasure. The view was not spectacular but there were some really neat places that we were able to hike to nearby including 3 ponds. Unfortunately we were not able to catch any fish in either the ponds or the creek but we had fun nonetheless. We made trips to Linville Caverns and Linville Falls (45 mins away) as well as the Nantahala Outdoor Center to white water raft on the...

"This property was absolutely amazing. Everything was as expected and our family had a wonderful weekend. The only inconvenience was the the steep walk to the lake. It was extremely difficult to climb back up, but we made it!"

"Well appointed home in a great location. There is a beautiful deck/dock at the bottom of the hill, however the hill is steep so it is a hike to get to. Alternatively, there is a neighborhood pool and boat dock, which is a four minute drive from the property. We used this dock to launch our boat and jet skis and it worked great. "

"Our family had a great stay at House Galini. Check in was seamless and communication was good. Our kids are already asking when we'll go back again. The hot tub and pool table made for a lot of family fun."
