Our room appeared to have been renovated already but smelled like bug spray. The refrigerator was warm. The coffee maker didn't have an accessible outlet to plug it in and the people who were sent to assist in resolving any of this did not speak English and were trying to translate on an app. We could still not...

"My husband and I were impressed with the our short stay; the room was very spacious and had everything we needed. Sadly, the TV is not a smart TV but luckily, it was quick trip for us. A firestick might come in handy.l for future reference. We highly appreciated the complimentary breakfast. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and didnt have any issues."

"This is a spectacular little boutique hotel in downtown Norfolk. The location is great for walking to the theater and the water district. There’s dining everywhere. The biggest bonus is the glass art museum that’s included with your stay."

On the day of check-in, my flight was delayed, so I called the hotel and spoke with the manager. I explained that I would be arriving late, and she assured me that it would not be a problem. "The property was horrible. The bed had a whole in the side of the mattress. The platform bed was almost on the floor I wished I could attach pictures. Initially I was going to cancel the room. Then the sent me a email thanking me and stated they had renovations. THAT WAS A LIE! STAY AWAY!!"

"My 9 yo and I were so turned off my the greasy walls, smoke burn bedding and busted bathroom that we left after 10 minutes. Our reservation said no smoking but they put us in a heavily smoked out room with air that was unbreathable."
