"I recently had a wonderful stay at Athol Park Guest House, and I wanted to share my experience: 1. The location is fantastic, situated in a peaceful area just a short walk from the beach. 2. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. 3. Breakfast provided a reasonable selection of choices. 4.My single room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all necessary amenities. "We had an amazing time! Hotel is lovely, clean and well presented; the owners can't do enough for you! We could not fault this hotel, everything was as you would expect from a 4 star property. "I booked this hotel for my husband and his two business partners and they said that they all really liked the rooms and the location of the hotel. It was really close to the ferry port so it was very convenient. We will definitely book again in the future. Thank you."

"Staff was great, very accommodating to requests. The included breakfast was incredible. Bar staff was a true pleasure! Highly recommend. We stayed in the Roslyn building which is a block off Promenade, so close but not noisy."

"The tv was difficult to use as no instructions and toilet didn't flush very well. Staff were very friendlt especially JM and the breakfast was perfect. The meals were reasonably priced and tasty. The hotel is very convenient for all activities."

"We enjoyed our week"s stay at Trevelyan. We stayed in a basic double room, which was good for us. The daily breakfast was great - full English breakfast or scrambled eggs on toast, with tea/coffee, toast and jam and assorted cereals - perfect. The staff were very attentive during breakfast. For us, Trevelyan was perfectly situated between the Electric Railway and central Douglas just half a mile away. Would recommend."

"Opul Boutique is new and you can tell its been 'revamped' quickly and on a budget. Bedding etc is all clean and new but furniture is tired. In room equipment (TV, coffee machine etc) is all new. Wifi did not extend to the room effectively and kept dropped out and the table to work on was too small. The rooms are spacious an plain on the walls. Given the history of the building this seems like a missing opportunity. Additionally there are no curtains up so light comes in and will affect you if...
