SHOW DE HORROR
Jamais estive num hotel tão ruim. Instalaçoes em pessimas condiçoes. Cama velha, janelas quebradas, cozinha horrorosa, cafe da manha inexistente. Distante do centro de Nassau. Atendimento displicente.

WAY Overpriced
Facility had nice staff, however we found rat feces in the room, the shower was literally a spicket in the wall and the building was in disaray.

The shower didn't work, so I had to take a shower outside by the pool. The TV only got one station, as well. The wifi signal was fairly strong from my cabin. All I needed was a place to sleep, so I dealt with both problems, but anyone needing more out of this place might want to look elsewhere.

You get what you pay for
The Good: Nice location close to the water. $12-$20 cab ride for two people to downtown or Paradise Island. The staff is friendly, always available, and very accommodating. They will call a cab for you anytime day or night. Not a noisy or disruptive area. Good swamp cooler for room made it ice cold at night they way I like it. The Bad: Very little water pressure and only 5 minutes or so of hot water in the shower. Sink didn't have anywhere around it to put toiletries, just a basin. Again bad water pressure. Beds were hard and pillows were firm (not my thing). TV listed 1000 channels but only a handful actually worked. Mini fridge in room but no microwave or iron. The Ugly: Wifi was really hit or miss. Mostly miss. The only place it comes in is right outside the main office, so don't expect to connect in your room or anywhere more than 15 feet outside of the office. Maintaining a connection was a struggle. Final thoughts: I stayed for 9 days and rented a car to explore the island. If you are looking for something all inclusive and touristy then stay at Atlantis. If you want something affordable and don't need room service then this is a good place to stay...just don't expect everything to be pristine.

My stay was ok..the room was spacious enough. The property did not offer any food service so you are forced to search the local area. Also there was a advertising of a continiental breakfast and there was none as previously stated the property had no food service for their guests.

Extreme budget accommodations.
The Hotel is a bunch of older villas and a Motel type building. The office is kept locked for security as the complex is off the beaten track. My room was quite large with a small kitchen area, a small fridge and a tube type television. The bad parts were guard dogs barking all night and someone tried to get in the back door of the room at 2 in the morning by trying to pry open the door. I woke up to an inch of water all over the floor and a partially function shower with no water pressure. The room was in need of quite a lot of repair. The good part was the woman at the office was very polite and accommodating.

Go anywhere else
Awkward location, dilapidated condition. There wasn't even a mirror in the room. No clock, tv, phone, etc. The shower water was cool and salty. No screens on the windows and a broken AC unit. There were bugs, no seem ums and big flies. The door only dead bolted from the inside and I wasn't sure how secure the door was in the frame, it was gaped and warped. Overall, I didn't feel safe and it was dirty.

Quiet hotel
My room door couldn't open the guard was very rude in assistant me.. The room door had a technique to it that had it hard for me. I hated this experience

I stayed one night before boarding a sail ship.
Clean and comfortable. A bit run down but staff were lovely.

Too expensive for what it is
I know this is a 2 star hotel, but I paid 90$ per night for a room with no wifi and incredibly old furniture. You could tell most of the things inside were bought many years ago and some furniture even had holes. The shower was a joke. Some members of the staff were very nice and some were pretty rude..

Decent hotel for budget conscious
Decent hotel: strongly recommended to have a rental car if you do stay there, as bus service outside is a little spotty and taxi service is Ok but adds up to be pricey. Good budget hotel: nice staff. Water pressure in shower was weak!! Not recommended to walk too far nearby after dark because roads aren't that well lit and sidewalks are narrow or non existent.

Comfortable and clean hotel
An old small hotel with bungalows and mote style rooms. It was clean but tired. Checking in was in a small building where you had to ring a bell for the door to be opened. staff were quick but check out involved a hand coming through a grille and taking the key and tv remote - a little strange. Never met the staff leaving. Overall it is a good safe place to stay when visiting Nassau for a couple of days.

True situation
This hotel is in a quiet location but owners are running it down and dont value your business. No body cares about you while you are there but on a positive note the area is safe

Definitivamente no! Evito di pubblicare le foto per non spaventarvi. Personale scortese,hotel decentrato e sopratutto vecchio. Mobilia inesistente , bagno-no comment- come del resto tutta la struttura. Unica nota positiva la colazione seppur povera gratuita la mattina ma non oltre le 10- sconsigliato

Nice and quiet, near a beach
This place is in major need of TLC. It really is close to a fish market and beach, but it's a mini hike to get to the city center, the fact that there's a bus stop near helps a lot.

I Really enjoyed my stay at the Orchard Gardens hotel, however I felt that at Night it was much to dark and in need of more lighting. also I feel that it would be much more convenient for the guest to have a phone in the room rather than having to walk all the way to the front desk. Other than that I felt that the staff was very friendly and concern. The next time I am in the Bahamas and in need of Hotel accommodations I would be more than glad to consider the orchard Gardens Hotel.

We were put in a room on ground floor that was terrible. Immediately moved to another room, however this place is plagued with worms dead and alive. We even had a worm folded into our bed linens. Ill never go back

It's ok
While approaching it looks abandoned but once your on the grounds it's OK...I dnt no if it's our room but it was nice it was a queen bed room with a separate bathroom a/c cable iron board mini fridge...it was OK.

Horrible! There were dead insects on the floor. Shower room was...lets say you don't want to go in there. I was there for 30 minutes and decided to change hotel and the staff didn't even care to ask why.

Nice hotel and convenient location
I had a wonderful experience at Orchard Garden Hotel. The environment and sensory was pleasant. The staff was very nice and helpful. Cleaning was a plus. Very cozy did not want to really go when it was time to leave.

No Frills quite out of the way hotel
This hotel is in need of a good update, but the rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. The hotel is far away from everything and doesn't offer any items for sale. No soda machine or snacks available. The pool is tiny and not very appealing. The guest are great with a handful of permanent residence you can sit in the shade and talk all day long.

Fue el único hotel que conseguí. En la habitación había gusanos muertos en el piso. Muy desagradable y la regadera no sirvió. La segunda noche me cambiaron de cuarto. En este había menos gusanos muertos y la regadera funciono, aunque la tina tenía agua y tenía el tapón puesto. Cuando quité el tapón salió de la coladera un hedor sumamente desagradable. La tape y volví a llenar un poco la tina. La regadera tenía una fuga. Las personas en recepción muy amables siempre. Muy silencioso en la noche.

Inexpensive & Safe Place to Sleep at Night
Beaches in Bahamas are (almost) all public. Just take a walk to Cabbage Beach, a bus to Cable Beach, a ferry to Junkanoo Beach, or a cab to them all. Resort is full of helpful and nice staff. Since you don't pay too much for the resort, you can enjoy any restaurant, including the most luxurious in Bahamas. The cab from airport to the resort is $35 or lower. Always always always negotiate with everyone and everywhere.

Looking for a place to crash?
If you're looking for a place to crash, this place will do. Other than the reappearing dead roach, there was nothing else spectacular to talk about. We were able to crash in peace and slept in pretty good comfort.

Never again!!
Had to ask for a second room. The 1st had bugs in it. And they did not run when i turned on the lights! Take this hotel off your list! 2nd room was better. I still will never stay there again!

Friendly, budget hotel fairly near Nassau centre
The manager is friendly and the hotel is budget by Bahamian standards. It is close to a useful shopping centre but not very near the beach. It's on a bus route and plenty of space for parking but there's a fairly long walk to the centre of Nassau otherwise. It looks a bit decrepit and does not have amenities like telephones or restaurant or the character of the Towne Hotel in the centre of Nassau but it was certainly quiet.

Simple but nice
Its simple but very nice. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Wifi works well. You get what you pay for. I would recommend to have a car if staying here, its a fair bit to walk into town. Its genuine and no tourists were staying here, just what we were looking for. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for something less touristic and less pricy.
