This was a family trip (2 adults & kids: 18 & 16). M Staff was mostly friendly, especially the two younger girls who checked us in upon our arrival. The hotel was very clean. The rooms were beautiful with amazing views of ocean, water park, and adults only pool area. The water park was lots of fun. We did the lazy river endless times, we did all the slides, and jumped off their small cliff. The surf pool was fun, but one can definitely get hurt on that thing. We had lots of laughs with all the wipeouts. The beach area is small, but it’s nice. It’s private so after hours you just need your wristband to get in and out. The adult only infinity pool and hot tub area was very pretty. Lastly lots of food options within the hotel and walking distance. Be prepared, everything in the Bahamas is pretty expensive. Everything you get, will add a 10% tax and 15% gratuity. Doesn’t seem like much, but definitely adds up after 5 days! Lastly, we did the fish fry, which is a major part of the culture. We went on a Monday, so it was pretty quiet. We walked there from the hotel which was about 10 minute walk. We ate at Goldie’s which was recommended. Food was good, nothing extraordinary. We left the restaurant when the sun was starting to go down, things were definitely get a little sketchy. Be mindful of this when walking at night, maybe take a cab back. Lastly on our walk back we observed a lot of RATS along many of the food kiosks. The kiosks were closed, but the rats were out to play.
